Fishtails peaked in popularity (for me, at least) about a year ago. One girl mastered the braid, and within a week it was as popular and mundane as dark wash skinny jeans. I had almost completely exhausted my ability to stand another fishtail when I was introduced to the above, re-invigorated version. It's thinner, wider, comes in twos, and I absolutely love it.
